Lifetime Achievement Awards

We are delighted to announce that the World Fantasy Lifetime Achievement Award winners for 2009 are Jane Yolen and Ellen Asher. Their awards will be officially presented at the Awards Banquet on the Sunday of the convention.

I see that Ellen will be at the Convention. Is Jane Yolen going to be able to attend?

Programming advises us that Jane is not a program participant, nor is she listed in the membership list.

Update: We’ve now had it confirmed that Jane has previous commitments on the East Coast, but will send someone to accept the award on her behalf.
