To misquote Field Marshall von Moltke, no convention program survives contact with the public. We have a few updates. The schedule pages have been changed. For the record, here’s what’s different.
Friday 10:00 AM Who, What or Why Done It — Danel Paul Olson will moderate
Friday 10:00 AM Writing Human Characters, Whether or Not They’re Human — Laurel Anne Hill added
Friday 11:00 AM Poetry of the Fantastic — Stephen Wilson removed
Friday 3:00 PM The Role of the Raven — Kerrie Hughes added
Friday 5:00 PM The Last Resort — Alan DeNiro added

We have just been handed what we hope is the near final program schedule. Please note that all program items are subject to last minute changes due to factors beyond our (and the participants’) control. We will endeavor to keep these pages updated, and will post any changes to this blog. Also our apologies for the fairly plain formatting. We know that a number of you have been waiting patiently for this information so we got it up as quickly as we could. Something more elegant will hopefully follow later. In the meantime, here are some schedules.

Neil Gaiman is currently stuck behind the Great Firewall of China, but he is getting some communication out, and yesterday his staff posted a journal entry about a project by our artist Guest of Honor, Lisa Snellings.
This is the first in a series of Poppet creations by Lisa that are based around Neil’s Newbery and Hugo winning, and World Fantasy nominated, novel, The Graveyard Book. Lisa is donating 20% of the proceeds from the project to the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund. For more information, see Lisa’s blog.

There are still tickets available for the WFC Banquet on Sunday at 1 PM. Tickets are $75 each (or $750 for a table of ten). We hope to see many of you at Sunday afternoon’s banquet, which will be immediately followed by the World Fantasy Awards Ceremony.
You can check to see whether you bought a ticket on the Membership List page. If there is a * by your name, our records show that you bought at least one ticket.

Attention please dealers – you should have received a document by email from us with information about set-up, shipping, sales tax and other important details. Just in case it has gone astray, we have made it available here as well.
Everyone else, we are pleased to announce that we have extended the dealers’ room opening hours to 3:30 PM on Sunday to give you even more shopping time before you go home.
